More than 44,000 people participated in the survey.
Americans were asked to name their favorite quick service restaurant to eat chicken, and more than a quarter of those surveyed chose Chick-fil-A.
The survey was conducted by YouGov, and more than 44,000 people responded between March 2025 and February 2026.
Chick-fil-A stood out solidly as the top choice, with 25.3% of respondents choosing it as their favorite place for chicken, followed by KFC at 17.9%.
Rounding out the top five were Popeyes (16.2%), Raising Canes (6.8%) and Church’s Texas Chicken (3.5%.)
A summary of the survey did not mention which restaurants were the top choices of the other 31.3% of respondents.
